Definitions

By ‘we’ is understood Trust International.

By ‘website’ we understand Trust International’s website, www.trust.com.

By ‘personal data’, we understand data about you via which you can be identified personally, such as your name, address and e-mail address, that are not publicly available by another means.

 

What is this privacy statement about?

This privacy statement concerns the way in which Trust International treats the personal data that is collected and received by Trust International, including data with respect to your use of Trust International’s services in the past and the use of cookies with respect to the use of the website.

This privacy statement will be modified from time to time. We advise you to consult the privacy statement regularly in order to remain aware of any changes and of the latest stipulations.

This privacy statement does not apply to the activities of businesses that are not in Trust International’s ownership or managed by Trust International or to people who are not employed by Trust International or do not come under Trust International’s management.

Trust International does not have the intention to collect data about website visitors who are under 16 years old. Unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is over 16. We advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities, in order to prevent data on children being collected without parental permission. If you are of the opinion that we have collected personal data about a minor without this permission, please contact us, and we will delete it.

 

Collection of personal data

Our primary goal in the collection of personal data is the management, monitoring and improvement of the website, its functions and contents, and the provision and improvement of the services and verifying that users of the services meet the criteria that are required in order to process their requests. We do this in order to improve the user experiences for visitors to the site, customers and users of our website.

Trust International only collects your personal data on the basis of active submission: with an active submission, the personal data that Trust International collects is submitted with your positive knowledge that this submission has happened. All personal data is only used for purposes for which you have given permission.

 

 

Spare part

The form is used to request a spare part. If you choose to request a spare part, we collect the following personal data from you:

  • Your forename, surname, address, postcode, town/city and country, so that we know who the spare part should be sent to.

 

 

Contact initiated by you

If you phone, e-mail or otherwise contact us, we may collect personal data from you in order to be of better service to you. We may contact you if you have requested information or have asked for a notification from us. We only request data that is necessary in order to be of better service to you.

 

Employment applications

Via the website, there is the opportunity to apply for a position at Trust International. If you choose to apply, we collect personal data from you, including, but not limited to, your CV, application letter and all other application-related documents that you want to give to Trust International, and your contact details.

The data that we will use in connection with your application for a position at Trust International.

 

Team sponsoring & Trust Gaming ambassador program

Trust International has a range of sponsoring packages. If you choose to sign up, we ask you for personal information, and non-identifying information about your team portal or website.

 

Promotional activities or competitions

We may collect personal data from you in order to be of better service and to provide you with good information. The winners may receive notification by phone, e-mail or post about a won prize at the e-mail or correspondence address or phone number as supplied by the participant.

 

Protection of personal data

No data that you provide will ever be sold or given to a third party or used for other purposes, unless:

  • It is expressly stated on the page where the data is collected.
  • When a legal order is issued to provide data.

Personal data is required to coordinate information with the user’s needs and to contact users if this is required.

Although adequate precautions are taken to protect your personal data, Trust International cannot guarantee that identifiable personal data collected will never be made known in a way that is not in accordance with this privacy statement. We employ the correct physical and electronic procedures and the correct policy procedures to prevent unauthorised access, to maintain data protection and to use the data we collect online correctly.

  • Trust International uses opt-in files to control the registration of user details (for example for the Service Centre).

Trust International uses cookies to optimise the operation of certain pages of the website. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by a page on the website. Information, such as language preference, is stored in such a cookie. No personal data is stored in the cookies, unless you expressly accept this.

Anonymised data about surfing behaviour is collected on the website via Google Analytics. We use this information to improve the quality of the website. We also improve the operation of the website by this means. In order to make careful processing possible, we have taken the following precautions:

  • We have made a processor agreement with Google;
  • We have masked the last octet of the IP address;
  • We have switched off all the options that Google offers to ‘share data with Google’;
  • We make no use of other Google services in combination with the Google Analytics cookies.

By accepting this cookie, you do give permission that we may use your whole IP address in Google Analytics. We only use the IP address to determine from where you visit the website. For the optimisation, improvement and analyses, only the web development team can see the data.

 

Marketing cookies

These cookies help us tailor advertising that we think may be of interest to users and to collect and use other data about user activities on our Sites and/or Services (e.g., to allow them to tailor ads on third party services).

 

Data use and sharing

We use the data we collect to provide you with rich, interactive experiences. In particular, we may use data to:

We also freely use and share aggregated and pseudonymous information for performance and analytics purposes that cannot be used to identify you individually.

 

Right to inspect and delete data

You have the right to ask to inspect, correct and delete your data.

We retain personal data that you choose to share with us. We retain your data until it is no longer necessary for us to process such data;

  • your support application/request has been fulfilled and can be terminated.
  • a competition or questionnaire has ended and you are not the winner, or the winner has already been contacted.
  • no more than four weeks after the end of the application procedure. You may choose to give your permission to retain the data for longer, if a suitable position possibly becomes available at a later time. For at most one year after the ending of the application procedure.
  • you have received your spare part.
  • you want to de-register from the sponsoring package or when you de-register from the sponsoring package.

 

If we for any reason suspect fraudulent behaviour, we retain the right to keep your data for as long as is necessary to protect our interests.

You have the possibility at all times to alter the data supplied. Trust International may in such a case ask you to inform us of the change in a prescribed way and, in some cases, identification may be requested.
